*sobering thought* (despite having a few wines 😉 )
As I was about to click 'Publish' I realised this is probably a snapshot of my life. The match is more than half burnt. At 63 I am well past the halfway mark and I do know I am lucky to still be around considering all the possibilities of meeting an early death in so many ways.
NEVER take anything for granted my friends. Life is a once only precious gift. Even if things are not going so well at the moment there are worse options. Think of how much worse off you could be and then appreciate what you have. Health, friends, family, money, job... some do not have one or more of these. If you have all 5 then smile, you are better off than most. Even if you only have ONE !!! you are better off than many. Think about it.
