Short story time about many times:
I have waltzed my puberty ridden ass in and through the house, sometimes in FULL BLOWN "I'm gonna kill a bitch today and I don't give a fuck whose jimmies get rustled rn" MANY TIMES. My mother has just about ALWAYS shut it down at its peak when I was most dangerous, with the only casualty being me getting stiffly restrained.
Today my coworker said she doesn't really believe she's my mother because we act more like roomates or sisters and don't look alike, but I said I have her attitude. She said, "You do, but you don't have her 'Jen Assay Quah" (Don't laugh, Idk how to spell it, and no matter how many ways I type it, google is just as lost). She has so much experience with shutting me down, it seems to just be a reflex now with me and everyone now that she's a senior. BUT if you know she's not very sympathetic, she don't give af, and you still try to talk to her about something she dgaf about, you already knew the likelyhood of getting roasted by truth, and you really can't argue with facts.
She has spent so much energy on being this type of mom at ungodly hours at night, she has become a pro at using the least amount of energy to get someone (usually me) tf out of her face, and I honestly don't blame her.
