I'm no stranger to being alone, on holidays or regular days, but today is perhaps the first time I feel a rush of loneliness instead of just comforting. Also the mid-life crisis is still going strong (its a mid-life crisis if I die at 60) and the crushing weight of knowing I've wasted my 20s away is rather depressing. Well, at least my santa hat and I look cute here.
Regardless, Merry Christmas to all of you! You guys are my safe place. And tonight is my favorite night of the year. I want to at least share it with someone.
