Cranberry sauce. Kind of a big deal. As a 3rd generation cranberry farmer I would know!
Simple recipe: Bring 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar to a boil, add 4 cups fresh cranberries (typical 12 oz. bag), bring back to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes while stirring and enjoying popping sounds (eye protection a good idea), remove from heat. Chill overnight and it usually jells/sets up, but if it doesn't, hey, it's still delicious cranberry sauce! So simple even Glaarg can make it!
