Is this just a me/local thing or is it universal? So, commercial landscapers are one thing. But, for private individuals with leaf blowers (5-10% of folks with yards, in my experience) I'm just used to seeing them casually blow stuff into whatever corner of their yard is the most downwind of their lawn, and then usually leave it there for a couple days. If there's no wind in those days, they'll eventually pick it up, but usually what ends up happening is the leaves just blow onto the street, into drains and culverts, or otherwise become someone else's problem. And that's setting aside the noise pollution.
